Because macrofauna are over represented

A new publication and little update

It’s been a long time! I am one year away from graduating with my doctorate, and I have an exciting job opportunity waiting for me when I graduate!

I’ve been working very hard to finish my work, teach my classes well, and learning how to mentor other young scientists!

My ambition remains to empower through education, and fight ignorance by promoting science literacy.

Our lab has a new publication in Applied and Environmental Microbiology.

Diversity in CO2 concentrating mechanisms among chemolithoautotrophs from genera Hydrogenovibrio, Thiomicrorhabdus, and Thiomicrospira, ubiquitous in sulfidic habitats worldwide

I am the second author on this research project. I have 2, first author publications that are getting ready to be reviewed this year.

Please Enjoy!

I’m hoping to find more time to update my blog more often when I graduate and take a post-doc position.

Who knows where I will be when you hear from me next!

  1. Julianna, its Nathan Miclette! Greetings from the power of the internet. I am glad to see an update here, I always find your research fascinating, and I hope both you and your husband are doing well. Keep up the good work, empowering through education makes you a superhero. We can use all that we can get in that dept.
